Jedd Philo Clark Cottrill
Jedd Philo Clark Cottrill (April 15, 1832February 8, 1889) was an American lawyer, Democratic politician, and Wisconsin pioneer. He was a member of the Wisconsin State Senate, representing northern Milwaukee County during the 1883 and 1885 sessions. Biography Cottrill was born on April 15, 1832, in Montpelier, Vermont. He graduated from the University of Vermont in 1852, taught school while studying law with the firm of Peck & Colby, and attained admission to the bar. He moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1855. Career Cottrill practiced law in Milwaukee. He served as district attorney of Milwaukee County from 1865 to 1867. He later served as a commissioner for the federal district courts in Wisconsin, and was a member of the committee appointed to organize and revise Wisconsin's statutes in 1878. Jedd Ari Fisch (born May 5, 1976) is an American football coach who is currently the head coach at the University of Arizona. Fisch previously served as the quarterbacks coach for the New England Patriots and as an assistant offensive coordinator and senior offensive assistant for the Los Angeles Rams. In addition, Fisch served as the interim head football coach at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) for the final two games of the 2017 season. He was the quarterbacks coach, wide receivers coach, and passing game coordinator under head coach Jim Harbaugh at the University of Michigan from 2015 to 2016. Fisch has served several stints as an assistant coach in both the professional and college ranks. He was selected to compete in the East–West bowl and in the 2011 CFL combine. Jedd Garet is an American sculptor, painter and printmaker, who was born in 1955. He was raised in California, studied at the Rhode Island School of Design, and received a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Influenced by surrealist painter Giorgio de Chirico, Garet uses garish colors in jarring contrasts to explore relationships between nature, man, and art. He combines human figures, classical architectural fragments and abstraction in narrative works, and is known for his amorphous life forms. ''Nothing Too Strange and Beautiful'', in the collection of the Honolulu Museum of Art demonstrates this phase of the artist's monumental sculpture. Jedd Lindon Gyorko ( ; born September 23, 1988) is an American former professional baseball infielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Diego Padres, St. Louis Cardinals, Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers. He is currently the manager of the West Virginia Black Bears of the MLB Draft League. Gyorko attended University High School in Morgantown, West Virginia. Playing for the school's baseball team as a shortstop, he was named one of the best baseball players in the state. He then enrolled at West Virginia University, and set numerous school records for the West Virginia Mountaineers baseball program. Jedd Novatt (born 1958) is an American sculptor who creates dynamic, non-representational compositions of geometric forms. He is best known for his 'Chaos' series of works in either welded steel or bronze. Life and work Born in Brooklyn, New York, Novatt studied literature and sculpture at Sarah Lawrence College before moving to France to study sculpture at the Lacoste School of the Arts (now operated by Savannah College of Art & Design). Novatt lived and worked in Manhattan until 2002, where he was recognized for his welded and painted steel sculptures and bold, black-and-white collages.
