Jeanne-Elisabeth Chaudet
Jeanne-Elisabeth Chaudet (née Gabiou; died 18 April 1832) was a French painter and the wife of the sculptor Antoine Denis Chaudet. After the death of her first husband in 1810, she married, secondly, in 1812, to Pierre-Arsène Denis Husson, a civil servant. Her painting ''Portrait of Madame Villot, née Barbier'', was included in the 1905 book ''Women Painters of the World''. Chaudet was the sister-in-law of painter Marie-Élisabeth Gabiou; at the ''Dictionary of Pastellists Before 1800''. she was also a distant cousin of Gabiou and her sisters, Marie-Denise Villers

Antoine Denis Chaudet
Antoine-Denis Chaudet (3 March 1763 – 19 April 1810) was a French sculptor who worked in a neoclassical style. Although mostly known as a sculptor, Chaudet did branch out in style and medium over the course of his career as an artist. Later in his life, he was involved in various collaborative art pieces. He collaborated on the 1801 print titled “Oeuvres de Jean Racine”, a major series of illustrations in Didot’s tribute to the author Racine that depict various famous scenes from the Bible. Chaudet also designed a hand fan made of paper, wood, and bone dating to the end of the 18th century alongside Pierre Francoise Leonard Fontaine and Charles Percier. Cataloged and held at the Louvre museum in Paris are numerous sketches of Chaudet’s that portray his early ideas for many of his most famous sculptures. Marie-Élisabeth Gabiou
Marie-Élisabeth Gabiou, née Lemoine (c. 1761 – 30 May 1811) was a French painter. Gabiou was the sister of painters Marie-Denise Villers and Marie-Victoire Lemoine, and was the sister-in-law and cousin of Jeanne-Elisabeth Chaudet; her husband, whom she married in 1789, was Chaudet's brother Jean-Frédéric Gabiou. Her work is usually signed "Eli Lemoine" or "Elith Lemoine", and her name is easily mistaken for that of Élisabeth Lemoine, née Bouchet. She has been described as a pastellist, though no pastels are known to exist by her hand. Marie-Denise Villers (''née'' Lemoine; 1774 – 19 August 1821) was a French Painting, painter who specialized in portraits. Life Marie-Denise Lemoine was born in Paris to Charles Lemoine and Marie-Anne Rouselle. Two of her three sisters, Marie-Victoire Lemoine (1754–1820) and Marie-Élisabeth Gabiou (1755–1812), as well as distant cousin Jeanne-Elisabeth Chaudet (1767–1832), were all trained as portraitists. Within her family, Marie-Denise was known as "Nisa." The family lived on the Rue Traversière-Saint-Honoré (today Rue Molière) near the Palais Royal in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, 1st arrondissement of Paris. Marie-Victoire Lemoine
Marie-Victoire Lemoine (; 1754 – 2 December 1820) was a French classicist painter. Life Born in Paris, Marie-Victoire Lemoine was the eldest daughter of four sisters to Charles Lemoine and Marie-Anne Rousselle. Her sisters, Marie-Denise Villers and Marie-Élisabeth Gabiou, also became painters. She was first cousins with Jeanne-Elisabeth Chaudet through her mother's side. Unlike her sisters, she remained unmarried and became one of the few women in contemporary art that made a living through painting. She was a student of François-Guillaume Ménageot in the early 1770s, with whom she lived and worked in a house acquired by the art dealer Jean-Baptiste-Pierre Lebrun, next to the studio of Élisabeth-Louise Vigée-Le Brun (1755–1842), France's leading woman painter.
