Jean Pérez (4 December 1833 – 31 September 1914) was a professor of zoology at the faculty of science in the University of Bordeaux. He took a special interest in the Hymenoptera and collaborated with Jean-Marie Léon Dufour and Jean-Henri Fabre. Pérez was born in Tarbes and joined the University of Bordeaux The University of Bordeaux (French: ''Université de Bordeaux'') is a public university based in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France.
