Jean Prioleau
Jéan-Edúard Prioleau (born March 30, 1970) is an American college basketball coach who was most recently head men's basketball coach at San Jose State from 2017 to 2021. Prioleau grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey and played college basketball at Fordham, where he was a two-time all- Patriot League honoree and helped Fordham qualify for the NCAA tournament for the first time in over 20 years. From 1992 to 1999, Prioleau played professional basketball for the Continental Basketball Association in the U.S. and various European leagues. In 1999, Prioleau began his basketball coaching career at Fordham. He subsequently had assistant coaching positions at Wichita State under Mark Turgeon, Marquette under Tom Crean, Iowa State under Greg McDermott, TCU under Jim Christian, and Colorado under Tad Boyle. In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. 1992 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament
The 1992 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament involved 64 schools playing in single-elimination play to determine the national champion of men's NCAA Division I college basketball. It began on March 19, 1992, and ended with the championship game on April 6 in Minneapolis. A total of 63 games were played. Duke, coached by Mike Krzyzewski, defeated the Michigan Wolverines, coached by Steve Fisher, 71–51 to claim their second consecutive national championship. Bobby Hurley of Duke was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. Michigan subsequently vacated its final two tournament games as part of the University of Michigan basketball scandal. The Mountain West Conference (MW) is one of the collegiate athletic conferences affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) (formerly I-A). Thomas Martin "Tad" Boyle (born January 6, 1963) is an American college basketball coach who is the men's head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes of the Pac-12 Conference. He was named the 18th coach in Colorado men's basketball history on April 19, 2010, replacing Jeff Bzdelik. Boyle was named as an assistant coach for USA Basketball a second time in 2015. James Patrick Christian (born February 6, 1965), known professionally as Jim Christian, is an American college basketball coach (sport), coach who most recently served as the head coach of the Boston College Eagles men's basketball, Boston College men's basketball team. Greg McDermott (born November 25, 1964) is an American basketball coach who has been the head coach of the Creighton Bluejays men's basketball team since 2010. Previously, McDermott served as the head coach at Wayne State College, North Dakota State, Northern Iowa, and Iowa State. He is the father of NBA player Doug McDermott.
