Jean-Pierre Koepp
Jean-Pierre Koepp (26 April 1934 in Holzthum - 3 August 2010 in Ettelbruck) was a politician and restaurateur in Luxembourg. He was a representative of the Alternative Democratic Reform Party (ADR), having been one of the ADR's founder-members and one of their first members of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg, Chamber of Deputies, in which he has sat between 1989 and 2009. Koepp was elected to the Chamber to represent the Circonscription Nord (Luxembourg), Nord constituency at the 1989 Luxembourgian legislative election, 1989 legislative election, with the ADR, then a single-issue politics, single-issue pensioners' party called the 'Action Committee 5/6ths Pensions for Everyone', scoring a remarkable electoral upset in securing four seats in the Chamber. Charles Goerens
Charles Goerens (born 6 February 1952) is a Luxembourgish politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from Luxembourg. He is a member of the Democratic Party, part of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe. Early career He studied agricultural science before he was first elected to the northern district constituency as a member of the Democratic Party in 1979. From 1989 until 1994 he was its chairman. Political career Goerens was a member of the European Parliament from 1982 to 1984, from 1994 to 1999, and again from 2009 to present. He served as Minister for Cooperation, Humanitarian Action, and Defence in the government of Jean-Claude Juncker from 7 August 1999 until 31 July 2004. Jean Colombera
Jean Colombera (born 2 February 1954 in Esch-sur-Alzette) is a politician and physician in Luxembourg. He currently sits as a member of the Chamber of Deputies for the Alternative Democratic Reform Party, representing the Nord constituency. Born in Esch-sur-Alzette, Colombera is an Italian Luxembourger. He was formerly an Italian citizen, but gained Luxembourgian citizenship in 1999. Originally a Green, after gaining citizenship (a condition for being a deputy), Colombera asked Jean-Pierre Koepp if the ADR had a spare slot on their list in Nord, in which his hometown of Vichten is located. In the 1999 election, Colombera was elected, narrowly finished second (behind Koepp) on the ADR's list, with two being elected.
