Jazzy Belle
"Jazzy Belle" is the third and last single from hip hop duo Outkast's second studio album, ''ATLiens''. It was released as a remix single and it peaked at #52 on the Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100. The song is the only single from the album ''ATLiens'' to be produced by Organized Noize, the other two singles being produced by OutKast themselves. The rapper Tupac Shakur is mentioned in Verse Two by Big Boi. United States, American rapper Ludacris claims he tried to sneak in to the music video for the song but was escorted out. Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds provides back up vocals on the Swift C's Remix. Big Boi has claimed that he didn't like the production on "Jazzy Belle", but Andre 3000 was so enthusiastic with the track that he went along with it. The ''Billboard'' Hot 100 is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. Chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), radio play, and online streaming in the United States. The weekly tracking period for sales was initially Monday to Sunday when Nielsen started tracking sales in 1991, but was changed to Friday to Thursday in July 2015. This tracking period also applies to compiling online streaming data. Radio airplay, which, unlike sales figures and streaming, is readily available on a real-time basis, is also tracked on a Friday to Thursday cycle effective with the chart dated July 17, 2021 (previously Monday to Sunday and before July 2015, Wednesday to Tuesday). LaFace Records was an American record label based in Atlanta, Georgia, that operated as a unit of Sony Music Entertainment from 2008 to 2011 and was historically a part of Bertelsmann Music Group from 1989 to 2004. It was most active and achieved its greatest commercial success during the 1990s, dealing largely in the field of urban music. It was originally distributed by its co-creator Arista Records from 1989 through 2001, after which it was shuttered and absorbed into Arista. Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds
Kenneth Brian Edmonds (born April 10, 1959), better known by his stage name Babyface, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He has written and produced over 26 number-one R&B hits throughout his career and has won 12 Grammy Awards. He was ranked number 20 on ''NME'' 50 of The Greatest Producers Ever list. Rapping (also rhyming, spitting, emceeing or MCing) is a musical form of vocal delivery that incorporates "rhyme, rhythmic speech, and street vernacular". "Black Ice (Sky High)" is a song by American hip hop group Goodie Mob from their second studio album '' Still Standing'' (1998), released as its second single on June 7, 1998. The song features American hip hop duo Outkast and was produced by Mr. DJ. There are two versions of the song. The first, titled "Black Ice (Sky High)", features verses from only Big Gipp and Outkast. The second features all members of the Goodie Mob as well as Outkast. Background The instrumental of the song was originally intended for a remix to "Blackberry Molasses" by American R&B group Mista. When Big Gipp heard the beat, he began writing lyrics to it. Gipp told MTV, "It was a song that I did in one night. I was n the studio just there playin' around and then came the hook and a verse. It came out so good and everybody was like 'It's jammin'."
