Jazmon Gwathmey
Jazmon Chameli Gwathmey (born 24 January 1993) is a Puerto Rican professional basketball player for Lointek Gernika Bizkaia of the Liga Femenina de Baloncesto. She played for Indiana Fever of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Career College Gwathmey averaged 11.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in four seasons at James Madison. She is a three-time Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year and CAA tournament Most Outstanding Player winning the awards in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Basketball At The 2019 Pan American Games
Basketball competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru began on July 27 and continue through August 10. The competitions are taking place at the Coliseo Eduardo Dibos. This was the Pan American Games debut of 3x3 basketball for both men and women, bringing the total number of basketball events on the program to four. This was done after the International Olympic Committee added the events to the program of the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. A total of eight men's and eight women's teams (each consisting of up to twelve athletes) competed in each five-a-side tournament respectively, and six teams competed in each 3x3 tournament (with four athletes per team). Jia Dorene Perkins (born February 23, 1982) is an American retired professional basketball player. She announced her retirement after the 2017 season when the Lynx won the WNBA championship. The Centrobasket is a FIBA-sponsored international basketball tournament where national teams from Central America and the Caribbean participate. These countries make up the Central American and Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CONCENCABA). The top three or four Women's National teams typically earn berths to the FIBA Women's AmeriCup, from which they can qualify for the FIBA Basketball World Cup or Summer Olympics.
