Malek Jaziri ( ar, مالك الجزيري, Mālik al-Jazīrī; born January 20, 1984) is a Tunisian professional tennis player. Jaziri reached his highest singles ranking on the ATP Tour of World 42 in January 2019. He reached the final of 2018 Istanbul Open, the semifinals of Moscow in 2012, Winston-Salem in 2015, Dubai in 2018 and the quarterfinals of Dubai in 2014. Career He appeared in the qualifying draw at the 2010 Australian Open, losing in the first round to Michał Przysiężny of Poland. He primarily plays on the Futures circuit and the Challenger circuit. Fadhel Jaziri (born 1948) is a Tunisian actor and film director. Early life and career Fadhel Jaziri was born in the medina of the Tunisian capital in 1948 to an upper-middle-class family who used to run a fez-making business. In addition to other businesses related to hospitality industry, Jaziri's father had a bookshop in the neighborhood of Bab Souika. Young Fadhel thus had the opportunity to meet and be influenced by the men of arts, theatre and politics that his father often had the pleasure of receiving. Dar Al Jaziri
Dar Al Jaziri ( ar, دار الجزيري) is a palace in the medina of Tunis. Located in the Tribunal Street, a few meters from Dar Lasram, it was one of the residences of the Jaziri family between the 12th and 18th centuries. In 1937, it housed the second Neo Destour congress. Listed as an historical building in 1992, it is nowadays the seat of the House of Poetry. Near the palace stands the family mausoleum known as Tourbet Al Jaziri, its door opening in front of Dar Lasram.
