Jaydn Kennick Denly (born 5 January 2006) is an English cricketer who plays for Kent County Cricket Club. He is a left-handed batsman and left-arm off-break bowler. He made his List A cricket debut for Kent on 11 August 2023, against Surrey. He is the nephew of Joe Denly. Early life Denly attended school at The Canterbury Academy in Kent. He began playing for the Kent Second XI in 2022, at 16 years-of-age. Career Denly joined the Kent first team squad in August 2023 as a 17 year-old. Margate
Margate is a seaside resort, seaside town on the north coast of Kent in south-east England. The 2024 County Championship (referred to as the Vitality County Championship for sponsorship reasons) was the 124th County Championship cricket season in England and Wales. Fuller Pilch
Fuller Pilch (17 March 1804 – 1 May 1870) was an English first-class cricketer, active from 1820 to 1854. He was a right-handed batsman who bowled at a slow pace with a roundarm action. Pilch played in a total of 229 first-class matches for an assortment of teams, but mostly for Norfolk and Kent. He is remembered as a pioneer of forward play in batting, and especially for a shot called "Pilch's poke". The Canterbury Academy
The Canterbury Academy is a co-educational 11-19 academy school in Canterbury, Kent, England. It is a specialist Sports College and 15% of its 1081 pupils are selected on musical aptitude. The school was founded as a non-selective secondary modern foundation school before gaining academy status in 2010. Location The school is on the London Road estate in the west of the city.
