Jay Prakash Narayan Yadav
Jay Prakash Narayan Yadav (born 2 August 1954) is an Indian politician from Bihar. He served as the Minister of State of Water Resources during UPA I under then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. He was a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. Yadav represented the Munger (Lok Sabha constituency), Munger constituency of Bihar and is a member of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) political party. He won the 2014 Indian general election from Banka (Lok Sabha Constituency), Banka Constituency and in 2019 lost to Giridhari Yadav from the same constituency. Biography Jai Prakash Narayan Yadav was born in Barhat, Jamui district, Jamui district, in Bihar state. His late father's name is Akhileshwar Prasad Yadav and his mother's name is Shanti Devi. Yadav holds a degree of Masters of Arts and Bachelor of Law from Patna University, Bihar. He married Savita Yadav on 18 February 1991. Jamui
Jamui is a town and a municipality in Jamui district in the Indian state of Bihar. It is the district headquarter of Jamui district. Jamui was formed as a district on 21 February 1991 as a result of its separation from Munger. It is part of Munger Division. The town is situated about 60km South-West of Munger. Historical existence of Jamui has been observed from the period of Mahabharta war. Archaeological and historical evidence shows its close association with the Jain tradition for a long past to the present time. A large part of this area is covered by forest. There are mainly two hypotheses which have been mentioned by historians regarding the origin of the name of the district Jamui. Lok Sabha
The Lok Sabha, constitutionally the House of the People, is the lower house of India's bicameral Parliament, with the upper house being the Rajya Sabha. Members of the Lok Sabha are elected by an adult universal suffrage and a first-past-the-post system to represent their respective constituencies, and they hold their seats for five years or until the body is dissolved by the President on the advice of the council of ministers. The house meets in the Lok Sabha Chambers of the Sansad Bhavan, New Delhi. The maximum membership of the House allotted by the Constitution of India is 552 (Initially, in 1950, it was 500). Patna University is a public state university in Patna, Bihar, India. It was established on 1 October 1917 during the British Raj. It is the first university in Bihar and the seventh oldest university in the Indian subcontinent in the modern era. It offers different undergraduate and postgraduate degree level courses.
