Jawani Zindabad
''Jawani Zindabad'' () is an Indian romance film directed by Arun Bhatt. This film was released in 1990, starring by Aamir Khan and Farha Naaz. It was released on 17 August 1990 and turned out to be Below Average at the box office. It was a remake of 1988 Kannada film ''Avale Nanna Hendthi''. Plot Shashi Sharma (Aamir Khan), Akbar and a group of young people pledge never to give nor receive dowry in protest against dowry system. Shashi had an elder sister who lost her life being a victim of dowry system. Acting against his mother's wishes, Shashi marries Sugandha Srivastav ( Farha Naaz) without asking for any dowry. Arun Bhatt
Arun Bhatt (1934–2001) was an Indian film director and producer active in Hindi and Gujarati cinema during the 1970s and 1980s. Biography Arun Bhatt was born on 26 September 1934. He was the eldest son of the movie producer and director Vijay Bhatt, the founder of Prakash Pictures. Career Bhatt started his career as an assistant to his father. In the early 1960s he made short films and documentaries as "Vijay Films", a production company started by Bhatt and his brother-in-law Kishore Vyas. He produced several documentary films for the Government of Gujarat. In 1971, he founded Vijay Films International. Sadhana Sargam (née Ghanekar, born 7 March 1969) is an Indian singer known for her playback career in Indian cinema predominantly in Hindi, Bengali, Telugu and Tamil language films. Suresh Ishwar Wadkar (born 7 August 1955) is an Indian playback singer. He performs in both Hindi and Marathi films. Amit Kumar (born 3 July 1952) is an Indian playback singer, actor, music composer. Kumar launched his own music production company, named Kumar Brothers Music. He predominantly worked in Bollywood and regional film songs since the 1970s, including 150 Hindi and Bengali compositions by R. D. Burman.
