Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Ajmer is a government medical college located in Ajmer (Rajasthan), India. Established in 1965, it is one of six government-run medical colleges in the western state of Rajasthan, and the fourth to be established in the state. It is affiliated with RUHS (the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences), and provides education leading to the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree (recognized by MCI since 1973) and the MS/MD/DM degrees. It also offers diplomas and other degrees in medical disciplines. Before the establishment of RUHS, in 2005, it was affiliated with Rajasthan University. Sawai Man Singh Medical College, also known as SMS Medical College, is a government medical college in Jaipur, Rajasthan state, India. It was established in 1947 and was the 15th centre for medical education in India. History SMS Medical College marks its start with the establishment of a maternity hospital, a dispensary and a medical school in Jaipur in 1855, officially inaugurated in 1861. However, this medical school was closed in 1864. Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College is the constituent medical college of Aligarh Muslim University, located in Aligarh, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. In September, 2014 researchers found deadly bacteria on the college premises. This is the first recorded presence of this particular strain of antibiotic resistant "super bug" in India. It launched an e-consultancy and monitoring cell for diabetes. The Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship (CRMI) refers to one year of compulsory work in hospitals attached to a medical college or in any other approved teaching hospital before becoming qualified to practice as an independent doctor or dentist. As stipulated by the National Medical Commission, the CRMI is essential for the award of the MBBS degree and full NMC registration as a physician. For dentists, the CRMI is regulated by the Dental Council of India. Panna Dai
Panna Dai was a 16th-century nursemaid to Udai Singh II, the fourth son of Rana Sanga. She was a Rajput of Kheechi Tribe. In Hindi, ''Panna'' means "emerald," and ''dai'' means "nurse." Udai Singh was left in care of Panna, after Rani Karnavati committed Jauhar in 1535. When Udai was attacked by his uncle Banvir, Panna Dai sacrificed her own son's life to save him. Biography Panna Dai was the nurse of Rani Karnavati, who was the wife of Rana Sanga. In 1531, Vikramaditya, the second son of Rana Sanga, succeeded the throne after his brother Rana Ratan Singh II. He was known for being insolent and arrogant. In 1535, Chittor was attacked by Bahadur Shah, causing Karnavati to call nobles and ordinary soldiers to defend Chittor.
