Javier López Vallejo
Javier López Vallejo (born 22 September 1975) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Born in Pamplona, López Vallejo began his career at hometown's CA Osasuna, making his first appearance for the main squad not yet 19 in a 3–0 home win over Sporting de Gijón on 15 May 1994, although the Navarrese had already been relegated from La Liga. He became an undisputed starter from the 1995–96 season onwards. Vallejo signed for Villarreal CF in 1999 alongside teammate Jesús Unanua (also a goalkeeper), appearing in all the games during the 1999–2000 campaign as the club returned to the top flight after a one-year absence. He retained first-choice status the following two years. With the signing of Pepe Reina in 2002 and the subsequent arrival of imports Sebastián Viera and Mariano Barbosa, however, López Vallejo was consecutively demoted to backup and third-choice. Real Zaragoza, S.A.D. (), commonly referred to as Zaragoza, is a football club based in Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain, that currently competes in the Segunda División, the second tier of the Spanish league system. Navarre Autonomous Football Team
The Navarre autonomous football team is the regional football team for Navarre, Spain. It is not affiliated with FIFA or UEFA because it is represented internationally by the Spain national team, and only plays in friendly matches. History The Navarre Football Federation created its selection in 2003. Until then, the Navarran players had been playing for the Basque national team. The Navarre national team played their first international game on 28 December 2003, debuting against Burkina Faso. The 2006–07 La Liga season, the 76th since its establishment, started on 27 August 2006 and finished on 17 June 2007. Mariano Barbosa
Mariano Damián Barbosa (born 27 July 1984) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. Club career Born in Lanús, Buenos Aires, Barbosa started his career with Club Atlético Banfield in 2002. In 2005, he was signed by Spanish club Villarreal CF for a fee of €2 million alongside another player in his position, Sebastián Viera. Barbosa served mainly as reserve at Villarreal, but filled in for Viera in several games, most notably in the semi-finals of the 2005–06 UEFA Champions League against Arsenal. Mario Sebastián Viera Galaín (born 7 March 1983) is a Uruguayan professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper for and captains Colombian club Atlético Junior. Club career Born in Florida, Uruguay, Florida, Florida Department, Viera started his professional career with Club Nacional de Football. José Manuel "Pepe" Reina Páez (; born 31 August 1982) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for La Liga club Villarreal. The son of famed Barcelona and Atlético Madrid goalkeeper Miguel Reina, Pepe Reina began his career with the Barcelona youth team and made his La Liga debut in the 2000–01 season. He signed for Villarreal in 2002, winning the UEFA Intertoto Cup twice. Reina moved on to Liverpool and made his debut in the 2005 UEFA Super Cup, which Liverpool won. Jesús Unanua Becerril (born 23 June 1969) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He played 204 Segunda División matches over ten seasons, in representation of six teams. In La Liga he was almost exclusively a backup, appearing in the competition with Osasuna, Albacete and Villarreal. Club career Born in Pamplona, Navarre, Unanua began his professional career with hometown side CA Osasuna, playing 13 La Liga games in the 1989–90 season.
