Javi Álamo
Javier 'Javi' Álamo Cruz (born 18 August 1988) is a retired Spanish professional footballer who played as a winger and current assistant coach of CD Cuarte. Football career Born in Gáldar, Las Palmas, Álamo spent his first four seasons as a senior in the third division, with local Universidad de Las Palmas CF (two years), RCD Mallorca B and Real Unión. In the 2010–11 campaign he scored his first goals as a professional, but the Basques failed to return to the second level. Álamo joined Recreativo de Huelva for 2011–12. He made his official debut for his new club on 27 August 2011, playing the full 90 minutes in a 0–1 away loss against Deportivo de La Coruña. In late July 2012, Álamo signed a four-year contract with Real Zaragoza in La Liga. Real Zaragoza, S.A.D. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. The 2011–12 Segunda División season (known as the Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 81st since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 26 August 2011 after the Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE) called a strike, the regular league ended on 3 June 2012, while the entire season ended on 16 June 2012 with the promotion play-off finals. Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
