Javier "Javi" López Carballo (born 25 March 2002) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for La Liga club Real Sociedad. Club career Alavés Born in La Orotava, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, López represented UD Orotava and CD Tenerife before joining Deportivo Alavés' youth setup in 2017. The following March, he renewed his contract until 2020. López made his senior debut with the reserves on 22 September 2018 at the age of just 16, by starting in a 0–0 Tercera División home draw against Real Sociedad C. In March of the following year, he further extended his contract until 2023, being definitely promoted to the main squad ahead of the 2020–21 campaign. Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It was below the top two professional leagues, the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga) and the ''Segunda División'', and above the ''Tercera División''. 2019–20 Segunda División B
The 2019–20 Segunda División B season was the 43rd since its establishment. Eighty teams participated, distributed in four groups of twenty clubs each. On 11 March 2020, the season of Segunda División B was suspended due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in Spain. On 6 May 2020, the Royal Spanish Football Federation announced the premature end of the league, revoking all relegations and planning an eventual promotion playoff to be played if possible. Also, the expansion of the league to five groups of 20 teams each for the 2020–21 season (due to promotion from the curtailed Tercera División groups being applied) was approved. The 2018–19 Tercera División was the fourth tier in Spanish football. It began in August 2018 and ended in late June 2019 with the promotion play-off finals.
