Francisco Javier "Javi" Chica Torres (born 17 May 1985) is a Spanish former Association football, footballer. Capable of appearing at either Defender (association football)#Full-back, right or left-back, his main asset was his physical strength. He spent the better part of his professional career with RCD Espanyol, Espanyol, appearing in 136 competitive matches over a five-year spell. In La Liga, he also represented Real Betis, Betis. The 2010–11 Segunda División season (known as the Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 80th since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 27 August 2010, the regular league ended on 4 June 2011, and the season ended with the promotion play-off finals on 18 June 2011. The 2007 UEFA Cup Final was a football match that took place on 16 May 2007 at Hampden Park in Glasgow, Scotland. In an all-Spanish final, Sevilla defeated Espanyol 3–1 on penalties after drawing 2–2 after extra-time, becoming the first club to win the Cup two years in succession since the mid-1980s (Real Madrid won the competition in 1985 and 1986).
