Jasvinder Singh
Jaswinder Singh is an Indian ghazal singer. He is the son and student of Kuldip Singh, composer of ghazals such as ''‘Tumko dekha to ye khayal aaya’'' from the movie ''Saath Saath'' and ''‘Itni Shakti Hame De Na Daata’'' from '' Ankush''. Saregama-HMV, one of the biggest music archives in India, recently launched his music album "Ishq Nahin Asaan". Earlier, he released "Yours Truly" and "Dilkash" by Tips Music. Jaswinder Singh has played international concerts in USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai and Muscat. He has performed over 300 live concerts. Jaswinder Singh also specializes in several Sufi and Punjabi songs, usually performed toward the end of his concerts. Early life Jaswinder Singh was born in Mumbai. 9th Mirchi Music Awards
The 9th Mirchi Music Awards, presented by the Radio Mirchi, honoured the best of Hindi music from the year 2016. The ceremony was held on 18 February 2017 at the Dome @ National Sports Club of India, Mumbai and was hosted by Sonu Nigam. Hariprasad Chaurasia (born 1 July 1938) is an Indian music director and classical flautist, who plays the bansuri, in the Hindustani classical tradition. Early life Chaurasia was born in Allahabad (1938) (officially called Prayagraj) in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. His mother died when he was six years old. He had to learn music without his father's knowledge, as his father wanted him to become a wrestler. Chaurasia did go to the Akhada and trained with his father for some time, although he also started learning music and practising at his friend's house.
