Jason Smith (snooker Player)
Jason Smith (born 6 January 1964) is an English former professional snooker player who had a ten year spell on the World Snooker Tour between 1987–88 and 1996-97. Career On the first day of his eligibility, his 18th birthday in 1982, Smith was winning league snooker for Mansfield. Smith reached the last 16 of the 1989 Grand Prix where he was defeated by world champion and eventual Grand Prix winner Steve Davis. The 1989 Rothmans Grand Prix was a professional ranking snooker tournament held at the Hexagon Theatre in Reading, England. Steve Davis won in the final 10–0 against Dean Reynolds. Anthony Christian Meo (born 4 October 1959) is a retired English snooker player. He won the 1989 British Open by defeating Dean Reynolds 13–6 in the final, and was runner-up to Steve Davis at the 1984 Classic. He won four World Doubles Championship titles, partnering Davis, and the 1983 World Team Classic representing England alongside Davis and Tony Knowles. Peter Francisco (born 14 February 1962 in Cape Town, Western Cape) is a former South African professional snooker player who won the African Snooker Championship 4 times and South African Snooker Championship 8 times and the South African Billiards Championship 13 times as an amateur and professional. Career Francisco turned professional in 1984, and reached the final stages of the World Snooker Championship on five occasions: 1988, 1989, 1990, 1992 and 1995. Jon Wright (snooker Player)
Jon Wright (born 10 August 1962) is an English former professional snooker player. Career Jon Wright was born on 10 August 1962 in London. In 1984 he entered two WPBSA Pro Ticket events; he reached the final at Event One, losing 4–5 to David Roe, but won Event Two, defeating Roe 5–1. Wright twice represented England in the World Amateur Snooker Championship (1984 & 1985), reaching the semi-final in 1984. During this period he was a regular winner on the lucrative Pro-Am circuit and was known as a prolific break builder. Joe O’Boye (born 6 March 1960) is an Irish former professional snooker player. He represented the Republic of Ireland at the 1988 World Cup (snooker), Snooker World Cup.
