Jason Saddington
Jason Saddington (born 23 October 1979) is a retired Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. He was recruited as the number 11 draft pick in the 1997 AFL Draft from Eastern Ranges. Career Sydney Jason made his AFL debut for the Sydney Swans in Round 1, 1998 against Port Adelaide. He had a consistent debut season in 1998 and was nominated for the Norwich Rising Star award that year. He kicked 4 goals against the Kangaroos in Round 4 of 2004 in one of his best matches of his career, and was noted as a consistent rebounding backman with a strong mark. However, a serious knee injury in Round 10, 2004 against the Western Bulldogs interrupted his career and the very slow process of recovery resulted in Jason being traded to the Carlton Football Club at the end of the 2005 season. The Victorian Football League (VFL) is an Australian rules football league in Australia serving as one of the second-tier regional semi-professional competitions which sit underneath the fully professional Australian Football League (AFL). Laurie Hill (footballer, Born 1942)
Laurie Hill (18 July 1942 – 22 May 2014) was an Australian rules footballer who played for Collingwood in the Victorian Football League (VFL) during the 1960s. A half back flanker, Hill played in losing grand finals for Collingwood in 1964 and 1966. He represented the Victorian interstate side in 1964 and 1965 and finished equal eighth in the 1964 Brownlow Medal. After playing the opening game of the 1969 VFL season he was dropped to the seconds. Angered by the decision, he left Collingwood and joined Preston (now known as the Northern Blues) in the Victorian Football Association. In five seasons at the club he won two J. J. Brett Ratten
Brett Ratten (born 11 July 1971) is an Australian rules football coach and former player in the Australian Football League (AFL). He played 255 games for the Carlton Football Club between 1990 and 2003, including the club's 1995 premiership. He then served as Carlton's senior coach from 2007 to 2012. After a seven-year stint as an assistant coach with and , in 2019 he was appointed as St Kilda's senior coach, a role he held until his sacking at the end of the 2022 AFL season.
