Jason Rumble
Jason DellaGatta (born July 18, 1972) is an American professional wrestler, trainer, and promoter, best known by his ring name Jason Rumble. He also had a successful career in semi-professional football playing in the New England Football League. He played five seasons with the New England Stars becoming a 2-time NEFL All-Pro and named "Special Teams player of the Year" in 2000. DellaGatta was a longtime star of NWA New England and, following Tony Rumble's death in 1999, adopted the "Boston Bad Boy" gimmick in honor of his mentor. He was promoted as Tony's kayfabe son, at the request of the Magliaro family, and considered the "face" of the company for much of its remaining seven years in operation. Malden, Massachusetts
Malden is a city in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. At the time of the 2020 U.S. Census, the population was 66,263 people. History Malden, a hilly woodland area north of the Mystic River, was settled by Puritans in 1640 on land purchased in 1629 from the Pennacook tribe and a further grant in 1639 by the Squaw Sachem of Mistick and her husband, Webcowet. Cody and Dustin Rhodes (also known as Cody Rhodes and Goldust, The Brotherhood, The Rhodes Brothers, and Gold and Stardust) were an American professional wrestling tag team consisting of Cody Rhodes and Dustin Rhodes. They are also known for the time in WWE and All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Cody and Dustin are real life half-brothers and were once managed by their father, wrestling legend Dusty Rhodes. The Jersey J Cup, also known as the Chris Candido Memorial J-Cup Tournament, is an annual professional wrestling tournament held by Funkdafied Wrestling Federation (FwF), typically between April and June. Modeled after the Super J-Cup by New Japan Pro-Wrestling, it is the second-oldest tournament in United States after the East Coast Wrestling Association's Super 8 Tournament. The wrestlers in the tournament are typically junior heavyweight wrestlers from independent promotions all over North America. The tournament has been hosted by New Jersey-based Jersey Championship Wrestling (2000-2004), National Wrestling Superstars (2005-2012) and Funkdafied Wrestling Federation (2013- ). In professional wrestling, a cruiserweight is a wrestler who competes in a Cruiserweight division. The term was first coined in United States in 1996 by World Championship Wrestling. Prior to this, the terms "Light Heavyweight" and "Junior Heavyweight" were more commonly in use. The older term junior heavyweight is still favored in Japan, where many titles for lighter-weight competitors are called junior heavyweight titles. The NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship is a professional wrestling world championship in the National Wrestling Alliance. Created in 1945, the title is competed for by junior heavyweight wrestlers. History The first NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion was Ken Fenelon, who was awarded the title on May 15, 1945 by promoter Paul "Pinkie" George, the co-founder and inaugural president of the National Wrestling Alliance. The Century Wrestling Alliance, formerly known as NWA Cold Front and NWA New England, is a New England-based American independent wrestling promotion located in Boston, Massachusetts. It was founded by Tony Rumble in 1989, a retired wrestler and manager in International World Class Championship Wrestling, and included much of its roster prior to and following its close during the early 1990s. The promotion eventually replaced IWCCW as the dominant independent promotion in the Greater Boston area and, in 1997, became an affiliated territory of the National Wrestling Alliance. Slyck Wagner Brown
Wagner Brown (born September 5, 1979) is a Jamaican born professional wrestler, better known by his ring name, SWB or Slyck Wagner Brown. Brown currently wrestles on the Independent circuit in the Northeastern United States. Additionally, SWB was appointed head trainer at Killer Kowalski's school in Boston. Brown also had a longtime association with women's wrestler April Hunter. The duo held tag team titles together in Jersey All Pro Wrestling and Pro-Pain Pro Wrestling. The CWA Tag Team Championship is the primary wrestling tag team title in the Century Wrestling Alliance. Double Trouble (Tony and Val Puccio) were the first team to win the titles by defeating The Interns in Wakefield, Massachusetts on September 23, 1993. The title was renamed as the NWA New England Tag Team Championship when the CWA joined the National Wrestling Alliance and became NWA New England in January 1998. NWA New England X Division Championship
The NWA New England X Division Championship was the primary professional wrestling "X Division" title in the Century Wrestling Alliance. It was one of the later titles introduced to NWA New England after joining the National Wrestling Alliance in January 1998. It was originally won by Cameron Matthews after defeating Shawn Styles, Gina Marie and Psycho in a three-way match in Sanford, Maine on June 19, 2004.
