Jason Pusey
Jason Lee Pusey (born 18 February 1989) is a Gibraltarian footballer who plays for South Cave United and the Gibraltar national football team. Beginning his career in the famed youth set up at Atlético Madrid, Pusey has gone on to play in Spain and Gibraltar, as well as earning 4 caps for his national side. He completed his free transfer to the 2022 Whitehead Fish and Chips cup winners South Cave United for the 2022/23 season. Club career Early career Pusey began his career at Atlético Madrid, spending 2 years at the top level of the club's youth team as well as turning out for the C team. Following his release from the club in 2007, he spent a year playing for Cádiz B followed by two seasons at Atlético Zabal. Pusey left Zabal in 2010 to take a break from football and study in the UK, returning to his native Gibraltar in 2012 to sign for Lions Gibraltar. 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualification – UEFA Group H
The 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group H was one of the nine UEFA groups for 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification. The group consisted of six teams: Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Estonia, Cyprus, and Gibraltar. The draw for the first round (group stage) was held as part of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Preliminary Draw on 25 July 2015, starting 18:00 MSK (UTC+3), at the Konstantinovsky Palace in Strelna, Saint Petersburg, Russia. Gibraltar was added to the group after the draw, after becoming FIFA members together with Kosovo in May 2016, and UEFA decided not to put Kosovo in same group as Bosnia and Herzegovina for security reasons. The group winners, Belgium, qualified directly for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The group runners-up, Greece, advanced to the play-offs as one of the best eight runners-up. Ryan Casciaro (born 11 May 1984) is a retired Gibraltarian football defender who played for Gibraltar Premier Division side Manchester 62 and the Gibraltar national team. Jeffrey Reginald Wood (born 4 February 1954) is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is currently the head of coaching for Europa, and was also goalkeeping coach for the Wales U19 and Wales U21 teams. Gibraltar Premier Division
The Gibraltar Premier Division was a football league established by the Gibraltar Football Association (GFA) in 1905, and the top tier of football in Gibraltar. It originally contained eight member clubs, but it has grown over the years. In 1909 the league was split into two divisions between which clubs can be promoted and relegated at the end of each season.
