Jason Matthews (footballer)
Jason Lee Matthews (born 13 March 1975) is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper and is currently goalkeeper coach at Weymouth. Career Born in Paulton, Somerset, Matthews started playing in goal at an early age and soon won a place at Millfield's Centre of Excellence. Bristol Rovers signed him up on schoolboy terms but he was released just before he left school. Matthews then spent six years playing for a number of clubs in the Screwfix League including Welton Rovers, Paulton Rovers and Mangotsfield United, before signing for Geoff Butler's Salisbury City. The following season Matthews signed for Nuneaton Borough, though it was only a couple of months before he was invited to join Exeter City, where he spent the 1999–2000 season, giving him his only taste of Football League action. Glyn Garner
Glyn Garner (born 9 December 1976) is a Welsh international footballer who plays for Taff's Well as a goalkeeper. Club career Born in Pontypool, Garner started his career at Cwmbran Town before moving to Llanelli. In 2000, he joined Bury for £5000, where he played over 140 games over five seasons. He turned down a new contract with Bury and joined east London side Leyton Orient in May 2005 on a two-year contract. Manager Martin Ling described him as "a big, commanding goalkeeper who is widely rated as one of the best in the lower divisions." He went on to make nearly 100 appearances for Orient. A particular highlight came when Orient knocked Premier League club Fulham out of the 2005-06 FA Cup, a game in which Garner saved a penalty from Collins John to help his side progress.
