Jason Hinkin
Jason Hinkin is a retired United States, American pole vaulter. He won the NCAA Division I Indoor Pole Vault title in 1997. He attended Long Beach State University where he was a 5x All-American. His personal best is 5.70m/ 18'8 1/4". He also attended high school at Saint Francis High School (Mountain View), Saint Francis, Mountain View, California, Mountain View, California, CA with Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Whitecaps and Major League Soccer, MLS goal keeper Joe Cannon (soccer), Joe Cannon. Pole vaulting, also known as pole jumping, is a track and field event in which an athlete uses a long and flexible pole, usually made from fiberglass or carbon fiber, as an aid to jump over a bar. Pole jumping competitions were known to the Mycenaean Greeks, Minoan Greeks and Celts. It has been a full medal event at the Olympic Games since 1896 for men and since 2000 for women. It is typically classified as one of the four major jumping events in athletics, alongside the high jump, long jump and triple jump. Vancouver Whitecaps Football Club is a Canadian professional soccer team based in Vancouver. They compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member club of the league's Western Conference. Joseph Cannon (born January 1, 1975) is an American former professional soccer player. He spent the majority of his 16 professional seasons playing in Major League Soccer.
