Jason Gardiner
Jason Gardiner (born 6 November 1971) is an Australian choreographer, singer, and theatre producer best known for his role as a caustic and controversial judge on the ITV shows ''Dancing on Ice'', ''Born to Shine'' and '' Stepping Out''. Gardiner was a judge on the first series of the BBC talent show ''Strictly Dance Fever''. From 2006 to 2011, Gardiner was one of the original judges on the ITV show ''Dancing on Ice''. Gardiner returned to ''Dancing on Ice'' for its eighth series in 2013, but the show was cancelled after its ninth series in 2014. He returned as a judge on the show in 2018., before leaving the show for a second time in 2019. In 2006, Gardiner was one of the judges invited to take part in ''Torvill and Dean's Dancing on Ice'', an Australian version of ''Dancing on Ice'', screened on the Nine Network. Jason Carl Gardener, (born 18 September 1975) is a retired British sprint athlete. A fast starter from the blocks, he won an Olympic gold medal leading off Great Britain in the 4 x 100 metres relay at the 2004 Olympic Games, and is also the 2004 World Indoor Champion, and a four-time European Indoor champion, at 60 metres. Athletics career Gardener was born in Bath, Somerset to a Jamaican father and British mother, and started his career at the World Junior Championships in 1994, where he was placed second in the individual 100 m and bettered this to take his first gold medal as part of the 4 × 100 m relay team. Joining the senior ranks, and coached by Malcolm Arnold for his entire career, Gardener took another silver in the 60 m, at the European Indoor Championships of 1998. ''Cats'' is a sung-through musical composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, based upon the 1939 poetry collection ''Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats'' by T. S. Eliot. ''Lucky Stars'' (or ''Five Lucky Stars''; () was a Hong Kong action comedy film series in the 1980s and 1990s, blending Chinese martial arts with bawdy comedy. ''Cats'' is a 1998 direct-to-video musical film based on the 1981 stage musical '' Cats'' by Andrew Lloyd Webber, itself based on ''Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats'' (1939) by T. S. Eliot.
