Jason Chee
Chee Weng Fai Jason (; born 26 January 1983), also known as Jason Chee, is a Singaporean para table tennis player who had won gold medals at multiple editions of the ASEAN Para Games. Early life and education Chee was born in 1983 in Singapore to parents, Chee Kwok Chor and Chua Ah Lek His father, Chee, of Shanghainese descent, worked as a vegetable seller until his retirement in 2011. His mother, Chua, was a seamstress who died in 2011 due to kidney failure at the age of 65. Chee studied at Westlake Primary School, Guangyang Secondary School and then Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Military career While at Guangyang Secondary School, Chee joined the Boys' Brigade due to his admiration of their uniforms and marching. After his polytechnic education, Chee enlisted in the Republic of Singapore Navy. He served as a Military Expert-2 on board the ''RSS Endeavour'' at Changi Naval Base. 2020 ASEAN Para Games
The 2020 ASEAN Para Games, officially known as the 10th ASEAN Para Games, is a cancelled biannual multi-sport event for athletes with physical disabilities which was intended to be held after the 2019 Southeast Asian Games in the Philippines. Participants were expected from 11 countries in Southeast Asia. The games, patterned after the Paralympics, was to include athletes with various disabilities. This was to have been the second time Philippines hosted the ASEAN Para Games with the first being in 2005. The Games was initially set to be held in at the second week of january 2020 but was delayed to March 2020, about three months after the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, due to financial and logistical constraints despite it is only five months prior to the 2020 Summer Paralympics. 2017 ASEAN Para Games
The 2017 ASEAN Para Games ( ms, Sukan Para ASEAN 2017), officially known as the 9th ASEAN Para Games ( ms, Sukan Para ASEAN ke-9), was a Southeast Asian disabled multi-sport event held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 17 days after the 2017 Southeast Asian Games from 17 to 23 September 2017. This was the third time Malaysia host the ASEAN Para Games and its first time since 2009. Previously, Malaysia also hosted the inaugural games in 2001. Around 1452 athletes participated at the event, which featured 369 events in 16 sports. It was opened by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Najib Razak at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium. The final medal tally was led by Indonesia, followed by host Malaysia and Thailand, while East Timor won its first ever ASEAN Para Games gold medals. Uveal melanoma is a type of eye cancer in the uvea of the eye. It is traditionally classed as originating in the Iris (anatomy), iris, choroid, and ciliary body, but can also be divided into class I (low metastatic risk) and class II (high metastatic risk). Symptoms include blurred vision, loss of vision or photopsia, but there may be no symptoms. Tumors arise from the pigment cells (melanocytes) that reside within the uvea and give color to the eye. These melanocytes are distinct from the retinal pigment epithelium cells underlying the retina that do not form melanomas.
