Jason Camm
Jason Camm (born November 3, 1994) is a Canadian curler from Rockland, Ontario. He currently plays lead on Team John Epping. Career Juniors In 2011, Camm won both the Ontario Bantam Boys Championship and the Ontario Bantam Mixed Championship, both as a skip. After Bantams, Camm formed a junior team with Aaron Squires as skip, and Camm throwing last rocks. The team won the 2013 Ontario Junior Championships and earned the right to represent the province at the 2013 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. The team finished the event with a 7-3 record, tied with Manitoba's Matt Dunstone in third place. The two teams played in each other in a tiebreaker for a playoff spot, with Camm and Team Ontario losing 11-8. In the middle of his junior career, Camm joined the Bryan Cochrane rink playing third, and played in his first provincial championships, the 2014 Travelers Tankard. Rockland, Ontario
Rockland is a bilingual community located about east of downtown Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, part of the city of Clarence-Rockland. Rockland has a population of 26,505 (2021). It is home to a large part of the francophone community in Eastern Ontario along with the towns situated to the east and the Ottawa suburb of Orleans to the west. Before then, farmers relentlessly cleared wooded space to be able to cultivate land, their only means of survival. Matthew Hall (curler)
Matthew Hall (born July 10, 1997 in Kitchener, Ontario) is a Canadian curler. He currently plays second on Team Rylan Kleiter. He was a member of the 2019 World Junior Curling Championships gold medallist team. Career Juniors In 2013, Hall and his rink of Phil Malvar, Mackenzie Reid and Cody McGhee won the Ontario Bantam Boys Championship. The team went on to represent Ontario at the 2015 Canada Games, where they picked up a silver medal. The following season, Hall joined the Doug Kee junior team at second. The team won the Ontario Junior Championships and represented Ontario at the 2016 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, where they finished with a 5–5 record. The next season, Hall formed his own rink with Jeff Wanless, Joey Hart and David Hart. The team began the 2016–17 season by winning the KW Fall Classic World Curling Tour event. 2020 Ontario Tankard
The 2020 Ontario Tankard, the provincial men's curling championship for Southern Ontario, was held from January 28 to February 2 at the Ed Lumley Arena in Cornwall, Ontario. The winning John Epping rink represented Ontario at the 2020 Tim Hortons Brier in Kingston, Ontario. The event was held in conjunction with the 2020 Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the women's provincial championship. John Epping won his second Ontario Tankard by defeating Glenn Howard 8–3 in the final. Qualification process Nine teams qualified from two cash spiels (two each), an open qualifier (two teams), plus the top two southern Ontario teams in the CTRS standings (as of December 1, 2019). The 2019 WFG Tankard ''(French: Tankard WFG 2019)'' the Quebec men's provincial curling championship was held from January 13 to 20 at the Arèna de Grand-Mère in Grand-Mère, Quebec. The winning Martin Crête team represented Quebec at the 2019 Tim Hortons Brier in Brandon, Manitoba. The event was held in conjunction with the 2019 Quebec Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Quebec's provincial women's curling championship. The Martin Crête skipped rink (which had been skipped by 11-time provincial champion Jean-Michel Ménard in 2018 before he retired) won the event, defeating the 2018 champion Mike Fournier rink in the final. 2018 Ontario Tankard
The 2018 Ontario Tankard, known as the Dairy Farmers of Ontario Tankard for sponsorship reasons is the 2018 provincial men's curling championship for Southern Ontario, was held from January 31 to February 4 at the Canada Summit Centre in Huntsville, Ontario. The winning John Epping team represented Ontario at the 2018 Tim Hortons Brier in Regina, Saskatchewan. The event had a triple knockout format, rather than the traditional round robin event as done in previous years. The number of qualified teams increased from 10 to 12. Qualification process 12 teams will qualify from two regional qualifiers (three each), a challenge round (three teams), the winner of the Colts competition, plus the top two southern Ontario teams in the CTRS standings (as of December 10, 2017). Martin Ferland
Martin Ferland (born November 8, 1970) is a Canadian curler from Trois-Rivières, Quebec. Career Born in Drummondville, Quebec, Ferland was a member of the 2007 Quebec champion team, that was skipped by Pierre Charette. Ferland threw last stones for the team. At that first Brier, Ferland's team finished with a 4-7 record. Ferland was also the 1989 provincial junior champion skip. He skipped Quebec at the 1989 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, but lost to Dean Joanisse of British Columbia in the final. Ferland has been one of the more visible Quebec based teams on the World Curling Tour (WCT). During the 2010s, he regularly competed in World Curling Tour events, while other Quebec rinks were less visible. Despite this, Ferland had regularly played second-fiddle to Jean-Michel Ménard when it came to Quebec Brier playdowns. Pat Ferris
Patrick "Pat" Ferris (born October 28, 1975 in North York, Ontario) is a Canadian curler from Grimsby, Ontario. He currently skips his own team. Career Ferris had a successful junior career. In 1993, he skipped his Sutton District High School team to a provincial schoolboy championship. He won back to back provincial junior titles in 1995 and 1996. This qualified Ferris to skip the Ontario team at the Canadian Junior Curling Championships in both of those years.
