''Jason Aldean'' is the debut studio album by American country music artist Jason Aldean. It was released on July 26, 2005 via Broken Bow Records. The album produced three singles on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs charts: "Hicktown" (No. 10), "Why" (No. 1), and " Amarillo Sky" (No. 4). The album has been certified platinum by the RIAA. Several of this album's tracks were recorded by other artists, including two of the singles: "Amarillo Sky" previously served as the title track to McBride & the Ride's 2002 album of the same name and "Why" was also recorded by Shannon Brown on her 2005 album '' Corn Fed''. In addition, "Good to Go" was recorded by John Corbett on his self-titled debut album, from which it was released as a single. Jason Aldean (born Jason Aldine Williams; February 28, 1977) is an American country music singer. Since 2005, he has been signed to BBR Music Group, Broken Bow Records, a record label for which he has released ten albums and 40 singles. His 2010 album, ''My Kinda Party'', is certified quadruple-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). ''John Corbett'' is the self-titled debut album of American actor and singer John Corbett. It was released on April 4, 2006 via Funbone Records. The album charted as high as number 45 on Top Country Albums upon release, and included a single which reached the Hot Country Songs charts: "Good to Go". Content The album produced only one single: "Good to Go", which peaked at number 43 on the Hot Country Songs charts in 2006. Marc Beeson
Marc Beeson (born December 20, 1954 in Champaign, Illinois) is an American country music singer and songwriter. Beeson has co-written several singles which have reached the Hot Country Songs charts. Life and career Beeson moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1990. One of his first co-writes was "Even Now (Exile song), Even Now", a top 20 hit for Exile (American band), Exile. In 1992, he co-wrote Restless Heart's "When She Cries", which won him Country Song of the Year and Pop Song of the Year awards from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). Beeson signed to BNA Records in 1994, charting at number 70 with "A Wing and a Prayer". Tim Nichols (born in Portsmouth, Virginia) is an American country music singer and songwriter. Active since the late 1980s, Nichols has written for several country music singers, including Keith Whitley, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Jo Dee Messina, and Alan Jackson. He and songwriter Zack Turner recorded one album for BNA Entertainment (now BNA Records) in 1993 as the duo Turner Nichols, in addition to charting two singles as one half of that duo. Chad Brock (born July 31, 1963) is an American country music singer and disc jockey. Before beginning his musical career in the late 1990s, he was a professional wrestler in World Championship Wrestling (WCW), until an injury forced him to retire. Brock signed to Warner Bros. Records' Nashville division in the late 1990s, releasing three studio albums – 1998's ''Chad Brock'', 2000's '' Yes!'', and 2001's '' III'' — for WB. Those albums, overall, produced seven singles on the ''Billboard'' country music charts, including the number-one hit " Yes!" and the Top Five " Ordinary Life". Jeffery David Stevens (born June 15, 1959) is an American country music singer, songwriter and record producer. He recorded two albums on Atlantic America Records with his brother Warren Stevens and Terry Dotson as Jeff Stevens and the Bullets, and later as a solo artist on the Atlantic label. Since the early 1990s, Stevens has largely worked as a songwriter and producer for other artists. Biography Stevens was born in Alum Creek, West Virginia. Mark Wright (born 1957 in Fayetteville, Arkansas) is an American record producer who works mainly in country music. He is known for having worked with Brooks & Dunn, Gary Allan, and Lee Ann Womack. Career Wright was originally a songwriter, having written for Reba McEntire, Amy Grant, and Kenny Rogers. By 1989, he had moved to RCA Records, where he worked in A&R and co-produced Clint Black's debut album '' Killin' Time''. Kim Chadwick Tribble (November 14, 1951-August 26, 2021) was an American country music songwriter. Active since the mid-1990s, he has written for David Lee Murphy, Montgomery Gentry, Doug Stone, and others. Two songs written by Tribble, " Guys Do It All the Time" by Mindy McCready and " I Can Still Feel You" by Collin Raye, have made number 1 on the Hot Country Songs charts.
