Jasen Mesić
Jasen Mesić (born June 11, 1972) is a Croatian politician from the Croatian Democratic Union. He served as the Croatian Minister of Culture between 2010 and 2011. Mesić was born in Zagreb. He graduated in history and archeology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Zagreb in 1996 and later in submarine archeology at Accademia per metodologia e tecnica di archeologia subacquea in Italy. Subsequently, he attained his master's degree at the University of Siena. Karima Jasen
Kareema Saleh Jasim (born 18 February 1988) is a Kenyan-born Bahraini professional long-distance runner who competes in distances ranging from 3000 metres to the half marathon, as well as the steeplechase. She is the Bahraini national record holder in the 10,000 m and steeplechase. Jasim rose to prominence with a 10,000 m silver medal at the 2006 Asian Games and then won both the long-distance events at the 2007 Asian Athletics Championships. She is a two-time medallist at the Military World Games (5000 m) and the Pan Arab Games (half marathon). She is a three-time participant at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships and was runner-up at the Asian Cross Country Championships in 2007. Jasen (; it, Jasena) is a settlement immediately southeast of Ilirska Bistrica in the Inner Carniola region of Slovenia. Mass graves Jasen is the site of five known mass graves or unmarked graves from the Second World War. Four of them contain the remains of German soldiers from the 97th Corps that fell at the beginning of May 1945. The Public Enterprise for Managing and Protection of the Multipurpose Area Jasen ( mk, Јавно претпријатие за управување и заштита на повеќенаменското подрачје „Јасен“) or just Reservе Jasen ( mk, Резерват „Јасен“) is a nature reserve in North Macedonia.
