Jarrod Smith
Jarrod Brian Stockley Smith (born 20 July 1984) is a New Zealand professional footballer who currently plays for Team Wellington. Career College Smith moved to the United States after he was recruited by and played three seasons for former West Virginia University head coach Michael Seabolt and played for the Mountaineers in the 2005 and 2006 NCAA Men's Soccer Championship tournaments. He played as a striker and as a winger for WVU. In four seasons with the Mountaineers, Smith scored 32 goals in 74 matches. As a senior in 2006, he scored a career high 14 goals in only 16 matches under first-year coach Marlon LeBlanc. Professional On 18 January 2007, Smith was selected by Toronto FC with the first pick in the 2007 MLS Supplemental Draft, but signed for Crystal Palace Baltimore in August 2007. Torslanda IK is a local sports club in Torslanda, Gothenburg, Sweden. History Torslanda IK was founded in 1944 by Anders Tullock, Bengt Tullock and Erik Danielsson. Svenska Cupen (, ''The Swedish Cup'') is a knockout cup competition in Swedish football and the main Swedish football cup. Svenska Cupen usually refers to the men's tournament, although a women's tournament is also held. Each year 96 teams compete, comprising the 16 teams from Allsvenskan and the 16 teams of Superettan together with 64 teams from lower tiers of the league system. Superettan
Superettan (; meaning the super first (division)) is an association football league and the second highest league in the league system of Swedish men's football. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Allsvenskan and Division 1. Seasons run from April to October, with teams playing 30 matches each, totalling 240 matches in the season. The league was created in 2000.
