Jarrod Brander
Jarrod Brander is a professional Australian rules footballer for the Greater Western Sydney Giants, having been initially drafted to the West Coast Eagles. Brander made his debut in round 13, 2018 against the Sydney Swans at the SCG. Early life Originally from Mildura in Victoria, he participated in the Auskick program at Wentworth District in New South Wales. Brander was part of the GWS Giants Academy as a teenager. He was ruled ineligible to join the Giants as an academy selection because the academy's zones were scaled back. Brander stated he was content with the decision. He played cricket for Geelong Grammar and football for the Bendigo Pioneers. AFL Career Brander was drafted by West Coast with pick 13 in the 2017 national draft and wore number 10. The Bendigo Pioneers is an Australian rules football team in the statewide Victorian under-18s league, the NAB League. Synopsis The Bendigo Pioneers is an Australian rules football team playing in NAB League since 1993 based in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. The idea behind the Bendigo Pioneers is to train its players and condition them for professional football. The team is divided into under-15s, under-16s, and under-18s. 2021 AFL Season
The 2021 AFL season was the 125th season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior men's Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The season featured eighteen clubs, ran from 18 March until 25 September, and comprised a 22-game home-and-away season followed by a finals series featuring the top eight clubs. The season was played during the second year of the COVID-19 pandemic, and saw disruptions but to a much lesser extent than the 2020 season. Virus outbreaks resulted in restrictions on crowds and the relocation of forty games outside their originally fixtured states, but the season was played without suspension and with only minor disruptions to the scheduled dates of matches. Joshua J. Kennedy (born 25 August 1987) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played for Carlton from 2006 to 2007 and is regarded as one of the best key-forwards of his generation. Kennedy is originally from Melbourne but grew up in Northampton, Western Australia. Lathlain Park (also known as Mineral Resources Park under ground sponsorship arrangements) is an Australian rules football ground, located in Lathlain, an inner-eastern suburb of Perth, Western Australia.
