Jared Pelletier
Jared Pelletier (born 29 November 1990) is a Canadian director, responsible for a number of short films including ''In the Hearts of Men'' and the Machinima series ''Omega''. Early life Pelletier was born and raised in Aurora, Ontario, where he attended Cardinal Carter Catholic High School. In 2008, he graduated high school and attended Brock University studying Sport Management. Interested in film-making since the age of 6, he left the university to focus on it. In August 2010, he graduated from the Toronto Film and Media College. He has also studied business and law in entertainment by correspondence through the University of California Los Angeles. Career Pelletier's first success came in 2009 when he was 18, with a shortlist at the Cannes Film Festival for ''The Collision''. A film director controls a film's artistic and dramatic aspects and visualizes the screenplay (or script) while guiding the film crew and actors in the fulfilment of that vision. YoungCuts Film Festival
The YoungCuts Film Festival is an international film festival based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, whose mandate is to advance the careers of young filmmakers. Originally established in Toronto in 2001, the festival was created to identify and help talented young people begin their film and television careers by providing exposure and recognition of their works. In 2007, the festival moved to Montreal. The annual event selects the best 100 films of the year from more than 1,000 submissions by filmmakers 29 years old and under. In 2016, the festival moved from Montreal to Vancouver. ''Inhuman Condition'' is a Canadian web series created and written by R. J. Lackie, directed by Jared Pelletier, and starring Torri Higginson. The series premiered on the KindaTV YouTube channel on 4 July 2016. The series takes place in a world where the supernatural is an accepted part of life, and follows the story of a therapist who focuses on supernatural patients. The series was selected for funding the Independent Production Fund in 2014. The first season consisted of 33 three-to-sixteen minute episodes, which streamed on KindaTV. ''Call of Duty'' is a first-person shooter video game franchise published by Activision. Starting out in 2003, it first focused on games set in World War II. Over time, the series has seen games set in the midst of the Cold War, futuristic worlds, and the modern day.
