Jared Hassin (born on December 17, 1989) is a former American football running back for the Army Black Knights The Army Black Knights are the athletic teams that represent the United States Military Academy, located in West Point, New York. After transferring from the Air Force Academy to the Military Academy, Hassin rushed for 1,013 yards and scored nine touchdowns as a sophomore in 2010. He tied the Army school record in 2010 with four consecutive 100-yard rushing games. His output dropped in his junior and senior seasons, and he left the team with five games remaining in his senior year. West Point Academy
The United States Military Academy (USMA), also known metonymically as West Point or simply as Army, is a United States service academy in West Point, New York. It was originally established as a fort, since it sits on strategic high ground overlooking the Hudson River with a scenic view, north of New York City. It is the oldest of the five American service academies and educates cadets for commissioning into the United States Army. The Army Black Knights football team, previously known as the Army Cadets, represents the United States Military Academy in college football. Army is a NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision, Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA.
