Japaratinga
Japaratinga is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Alagoas. Its population is 8,403 (2020) and its area is 86 km². IBGE - Geography Japaratinga is located along the coast, near the eastern-most point of the main South American continent. Climate Japaratinga has a tropical forest, characterized by high rainfall, with definitions setting minimum normal annual rainfall between 2,000 mm (about 78 inches or 2 meters) and 1,700 mm (about 67 inches). Alagoas
Alagoas (, ) is one of the 27 federative units of Brazil and is situated in the eastern part of the Northeast Region. It borders: Pernambuco (N and NW); Sergipe (S); Bahia (SW); and the Atlantic Ocean (E). Its capital is the city of Maceió.
