Japan Open (figure Skating)
The Japan Open is an annual senior international figure skating team Figure skating competition, competition organized by the Japan Skating Federation. The current format (team event) was established in 2006. The competition is held every autumn in Japan. Invited skaters compete in the disciplines of single skating, men's and ladies' singles. Skaters perform a free program but no short. Individual results are combined for a team standing. From 1997 until 2001, Japan Open was an individual competition in all four figure skating disciplines. 2022 The 2022 competition was held on October 8, 2022 at the Saitama Super Arena. Shoma Uno
is a Japanese figure skater. He is a three-time Olympic medalist ( 2018 silver, 2022 bronze, 2022 team bronze), the 2022 World champion and a two-time World silver medalist (2018, 2017), the 2022–23 Grand Prix Final champion, the 2019 Four Continents champion, the 2017 Asian Winter Games champion, and a five-time Japanese national champion (2016–2019, 2022). Earlier in his career, he became the 2015 World Junior champion, 2014–15 Junior Grand Prix Final champion, and 2012 Youth Olympic silver medalist. Kao Miura
is a Japanese figure skater. He is the 2023 World Junior Champion, 2023 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, 2023 Four Continents champion, the 2022 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, 2022 Four Continents bronze medalist, and the 2021–22 Japan Figure Skating Championships, 2021–22 Japan junior national champion. Figure Skating
Figure skating is a sport in which individuals, pairs, or groups perform on figure skates on ice. It was the first winter sport to be included in the Olympic Games, when contested at the 1908 Olympics in London. The Olympic disciplines are men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance; the four individual disciplines are also combined into a team event, first included in the Winter Olympics in 2014. The non-Olympic disciplines include synchronized skating, Theater on Ice, and four skating. Keiji Tanaka
is a retired Japanese figure skater. He is the 2016 NHK Trophy bronze medalist, 2019 U.S. Classic champion, 2017 Winter Universiade silver medalist, 2011 World Junior silver medalist, and a two-time Japanese national silver medalist (2016, 2017). Career Tanaka began skating in 2002. Mako Yamashita
Mako Yamashita ( ja, 山下 真瑚; born December 31, 2002) is a Japanese figure skater. She is the 2018 Skate Canada silver medalist and a two-time medalist at the ISU Challenger Series. On the junior level, she is the 2018 World Junior bronze medalist, a four-time medalist on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series, and the 2017–18 Japanese junior national silver medalist. Ryuju Hino
is a Japanese former figure skater. He has won five senior international medals, seven ISU Junior Grand Prix medals – including bronze at the 2012–13 JGP Final, and two (2011, 2012) Japanese national junior titles. is a Japanese figure skater. He is the 2021 CS Cup of Austria silver medalist, the 2020 NHK Trophy bronze medalist, and the 2020–21 Japan junior national champion.
