Janny Wurts
Janny Wurts (born December 10, 1953) is an American fantasy novelist and illustrator. She has written several standalone novels and series, including the '' Wars of Light and Shadow'', ''The Cycle of Fire'' trilogy and the internationally best-selling ''Empire'' trilogy that she co-authored with Raymond E. Feist. Her short story collection ''That Way Lies Camelot'' was nominated for the British Fantasy Award in 1995. She often illustrates her own books, and has won Chesley Awards for her artwork. Biography Janny Wurts was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. In the 1980s, she worked as an illustrator for role-playing game supplements for Mayfair Games. Janny Brandes-Brilleslijper
Marianne "Janny" (or "Jannie") Brandes-Brilleslijper (24 October 1916 – 15 August 2003) was a Dutch Holocaust survivor and one of the last people to see Anne Frank. She is the sister of singer Lin Jaldati (born Rebekka Brilleslijper; 1912–1988). Both Brandes-Brilleslijper and Jaldati (nicknamed "Lientje") were in the Westerbork, Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen concentration camps with Anne and Anne's older sister Margot Frank. Life Brandes-Brilleslijper was born Marianne Brilleslijper in Amsterdam on 24 October 1916, the middle of three children of Fijtje (née Gerritse) and Joseph Brilleslijper. In 1939, she married Cornelis Teunis "Bob" Brandes (1912–1998), and they had two children: Robert and Liselotte Dolores. Georg Janny
Georg Janny (20 May 1864, Vienna - 21 February 1935, Vienna) was an Austrian landscape painter and set designer. Life He worked as a scene painter in the studios of Carlo Brioschi and Johann Kautsky, alongside Alfons Mucha, and was a member of the Dürerbund. In 1898, he participated in painting the "Eisernen Vorhang" (Iron Curtain) at the Vienna Volksoper for the 50th jubilee of Emperor Franz Joseph I. In 1904, he exhibited in the Austrian Pavilion at the St.Louis World's Fair with scenes from the Imperial Royal Austrian State Railways (now at the Technisches Museum Wien). Two years later, he designed the stage for ''The Queen of Sheba'' by Karl Goldmark, one of the most popular operas of the late 19th century. Janny Sikazwe
Janny Sikazwe (born 1979) is a former Zambian international football referee. He got his big break in 2008 at COSAFA U-20 Challenge Cup in South Africa when he was called to replace another referee who had failed a fitness test. On 7 January 2023 he officiated his last career match between Napsa Stars and Red Arrows. He was one of the referees for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations. He refereed the 2016 FIFA Club World Cup Final When in Japan, and the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Final in Gabon. He was selected to officiate at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, and made his debut in the Belgium vs Panama Group G game on 18 June.
