Jannis Kallinikos (born 1954, el, Ιωάννης Καλλίνικος) is an organization and communication scholar and intellectual. He was born in the town of Preveza, western Greece. He is also a citizen of Sweden. Kallinikos is currently a professor in the Information Systems and Innovation Group, Department of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). His scholarly projects have over the years covered several themes ranging from the significance writing and notation has assumed in the making of modern organizations through the understanding of markets as semiotic systems to the study of bureaucracy and institutions. Jannis Kounellis
Jannis Kounellis ( el, Γιάννης Κουνέλλης; 23 March 1936 – 16 February 2017) was a Greek Italian artist based in Rome. A key figure associated with Arte Povera, he studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome. Life and work Kounellis was born in Piraeus, Greece in 1936. He lived in Greece during the Second World War and Greek Civil War before he moved to Rome in 1956. From 1960 to 1966, Kounellis went through a period of only exhibiting paintings. In some of his first exhibitions, Kounellis began stenciling numbers, letters, and words onto his canvases, often reflecting advertisements and signs seen on the street. In 1960 he began to introduce found sculptural objects such as actual street signs into his work, exhibiting at Galleria La Tartaruga. Jannis Zamanduridis (born March 18, 1966, in Chemnitz, East Germany) is a retired amateur German Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's welterweight category. Considered as one of Germany's most promising wrestlers in his decade, Zamanduridis has claimed two medals (one silver and one bronze) in the 68-kg division at the World Championships (1990 and 1995), but took an early hiatus shortly to focus on his coaching staff for the German wrestling team. In 2003, Zamanduridis suddenly came out of his impending retirement to compete for Germany at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Jannis Zotos (born 3 May 1958) is a German musician, composer, arranger and guitar teacher of Greek origin. He is also the owner and manager of the jazz club b-flat in Berlin. He studied classical guitar at the renowned Hochschule für Musik „Hanns Eisler“ in Berlin and he also masters Bouzouki and Oud instruments. His personal focus is on Rebetiko music, so called Asia Minor music and traditional Greek music. He used to be a member of the group percussion & strings. In 1990 he founded the Rebetiko band Zotos Kompania together with his brother Thanassis Zotos. Greek television ERT produced a documentary about the band touring Greece.
