Janni Spies (née Brodersen, born 19 September 1962) is a Danish businesswoman, multimillionaire, and former owner of the Scandinavian travelling empire including the charter airline Conair of Scandinavia, companies she inherited from her first husband Simon Spies. Guglielmo Janni (1892–1958) was an Italian painter belonging to the modern movement of the ''Scuola romana (Roman School)''. Biography Son of a renowned Roman family – his father Giuseppe was a lawyer and his mother Teresa Belli was the niece of famous Italian poet Giuseppe Gioachino Belli – Janni was to be strongly influenced by his inherited literary background. He graduated at law in 1914 and, just after World War I, he attended an Art Nouveau decorative course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, while studying philosophy and literature on his own. In 1921, he exhibited at the 1st Biennale of Rome and around 1924 he was called to decorate the Headquarters of the Banca d'Italia, where he painted a mural on the history of Italian coinage. Northport is a town in Stevens County, Washington, United States. The population was 295 at the 2010 census. History Northport began when railroad builder Daniel C. Corbin had agents purchase two wooded benches overlooking the Columbia River from the federal government in 1892. Corbin had plans to extend his Spokane Falls and Northern Railway (S&FN) from Little Dalles, the town seven miles south, to the rich mining districts of southern British Columbia. Northport would provide a railhead for two railroads into Canada. At this time, ''The Kootenai Steamship Company'' riverboats provided service from Little Dalles to Revelstoke, B.C. After the S&FN reached Northport on Sept. 18, 1892, the riverboats ran from Northport to Revelstoke. Northport became an international port of entry in 1895. Joseph Janni (21 May 1916 – 29 May 1994) was a British film producer best known for his work with John Schlesinger. He was born into a Jewish family in Milan, Italy and became interested in filmmaking while at university. He emigrated to England in 1939, and once Italy declared war, he was briefly interned in Metropole Camp on the Isle of Man. He later became involved in the British film industry and worked his way up to producer.
