Janne Sollie (born 27 March 1959) is a Norwegian civil servant. A ''sivilagronom'' by education, she was hired in the Norwegian Pollution Control Authority as a head of department in 1987. From 1990 to 1991 she worked as an advisor in the Ministry of the Environment. Norwegian Pollution Control Authority
The Norwegian Climate and Pollution Agency ( no, Klima- og forurensningsdirektoratet, Klif), named Norwegian Pollution Control Authority ( no, Statens forurensningstilsyn), SFT) until 2010, was a Norwegian government agency from 1974 to 2013 when it was merged into the Norwegian Environment Agency. The agency was responsible for ensuring that pollution, waste and other harmful substances did not result in health damage, inflict the well-being or hinder the production and reproduction of nature. In particular it had a responsibility of pollution related to sea and water, chemicals, waste and recycling, global warming, air pollution and noise. Norwegian Directorate For Nature Management
The Norwegian Directorate for Nature Management ( no, Direktoratet for naturforvaltning, DN) was Norway's national governmental body for preserving Norway's natural environment, including establishing and regulating national parks and other protected areas until 2013 when it was merged into the Norwegian Environment Agency. The directorate's stated mission was "to preserve biological diversity and strengthen the common right of access to the countryside". The organization was based in Trondheim and employed about 250 employees. It concerned itself with designating areas for protection, monitoring and preserving biological diversity, as well as setting and enforcing fish and hunting quotas. Stein Lier-Hansen
Stein Lier-Hansen (born 9 May 1955) is a Norwegian organizational director and politician for the Labour Party. From 1988 to 1993 he was the general secretary of the Norwegian Association of Hunters and Anglers, an organization with more than 100,000 members. He then became assisting director of the Norwegian Directorate for Nature Management in 1993, and director in 1995. During Stoltenberg's First Cabinet, Lier-Hansen was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of the Environment. He held the position until after the 2001 elections, which caused the cabinet to fall.
