Jani Lyyski
Jani Lyyski (born 16 March 1983) is a Finnish former footballer. Club career Lyyski started his career in IFK Mariehamn he played for seven years, before moving on to Vaasan Palloseura in 2008. On 26 November, he signed on for Swedish side Djurgårdens IF. In March 2012 Lyyski returned to IFK Mariehamn. His father Pekka Lyyski is a former manager of IFK Mariehamn. International career On 18 January 2010 Lyyski made his first appearance at Finnish national football team in friendly match against South Korea in Málaga, Spain. Jāņi
Jāņi () is an annual Latvian festival celebrating the summer solstice. Although astronomically the solstice falls on 21 or 22 June, the public holidays—Līgo Day and Jāņi Day—are on 23 and 24 June. The day before Jāņi is known as Līgosvētki, Līgovakars or simply Līgo. On Jāņi, people travel from the city into the countryside to gather and eat, drink, sing and celebrate the solstice by observing the ancient folk traditions relating to renewal and fertility. It is celebrated both in Latvia and in many areas where the Latvian diaspora lives such as the United States, Canada, Argentina, and Australia. Jani Vreto
Jani Vreto (14 January 1822 – 9 July 1900) was an Albanian writer, printer, publisher and important figure of the Albanian National Awakening. He was responsible for setting up and overseeing the work of the first Albanian printing house in Bucharest in 1886. Life Jani Vreto was born in Postenan, a village near Leskovik, southern Albania in 1820. He went to the local school where he took his first lessons from ''Nikolla Ikonomi'', who would teach him both Greek and Albanian. Some years before the establishment of the League of Prizren during the Great Eastern Crisis, Vreto met with six other Albanian intellectuals regarding the alphabet question and he supported the use of the Greek alphabet to write Albanian due to the Pelasgian theory. Jani Sullanmaa
Jani Sullanmaa (born 19 December 1981 in Hyvinkää) is a Finland, Finnish curling, curler. He currently plays third for Aku Kauste. Sullanmaa played juniors for Tuomas Vuori as his third. He won a silver medal at the 2003 Junior "B" World Championships followed up with a 9th-place finish at the 2003 World Junior Curling Championships. Sullanmaa would then join Markku Uusipaavalniemi's team. He first played as the team's alternate and moved to second position after the 2006 Winter Olympics. Personal life Jani was born in Gothenburg, Sweden to a Finnish mother and a Serbian father. He moved to Helsinki, Finland in 1993 with his mom, little brother and sister. Jani Markus Rita (born July 25, 1981) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey winger who last played with Jokerit of the Russian KHL, for whom he played most of his career. Playing career Despite limited NHL experience, Rita has played extensively in the American Hockey League and in the SM-liiga in his native Finland. Rita started his hockey career in a youth team of EKS (Espoon Kiekkoseura). He played his first seasons of pro hockey for Jokerit, Helsinki, and was drafted 13th overall in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers. Jani Allan Kristian Liimatainen (born 9 September 1980) is a Finnish musician, songwriter and backing vocalist, currently a member of melodic death metal band Insomnium. He is the former guitarist and one of the founding members of the power metal band Sonata Arctica.
