Jang Deog-cheon
Jang Deog-cheon (; born 28 November 1965) is a South Korean lawyer and politician serving as Mayor of Bucheon, Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province from 2018. Lawyer Jang was previously a legal advisor to the city from 2011 to 2015, Gyeonggi Province from 2017 to 2018 and Bucheon branch of Federation of Korean Trade Unions. He was also a lawyer at Bucheon office of Korea Legal Aid Corporation from 2016 to 2018 and a member of Incheon Regional National Labor Relations Commission from 2014 to 2015. In 2015 Jang filed the first case against the Ministry of Education (South Korea), Ministry of Education to the Constitutional Court of Korea for later-impeached president Park Geun-hye's Korean history textbook controversies, state-issued history textbook on behalf of his 10-years-old son and his spouse for violating their right to choose textbooks and breaking political impartiality of education. Bucheon
Bucheon () is a administrative divisions of South Korea, city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Bucheon is located away from Seoul, of which it is a satellite town, satellite city. It is located between Incheon and Seoul. Bucheon is the second most densely populated city in South Korea after Seoul, and as a result, administrative districts were abolished in July 2016 in favor of providing greater public service in community centers. Major manufacturing operations are located in the northern areas of the city, while the areas in the south where Seoul Subway Line 7 and Seoul Subway Line 1 pass are dense commercial and residential areas. OhmyNews (Hangul: 오마이뉴스) is a South Korean online news website with the motto "Every Citizen is a Reporter". It was founded by Oh Yeon Ho on February 22, 2000. It is the first news website in Korea to accept, edit and publish articles from its readers, in an open source style of news reporting. About 20% of the site's content is written by the 55-person staff, while most of the articles are written by other freelance contributors who are mostly ordinary citizens. Political position OhmyNews is a liberal and progressive media. OhmyNews is a media that shows liberal-leaning bias, unlike the somewhat moderate liberal Hankyoreh and Kyunghyang.
