Janeen Jacobs Brady (born 1934) is an American composer, lyricist, and publisher of children's music, patriotic songs, educational music, and religious songs and hymns. She has also authored cantatas, musical comedies, musical dramas, and roadshows. She and her husband, Ted Brady, founded Brite Music, Inc. She has composed and produced over 40 full-length albums and her songs have sold over 6 million copies. Biography Born Janeen Jacobs, she was the eldest of Owen S. and Agnes Jacobs' 11 children. She started piano lessons at the age of 4. In the first grade, when the teacher was having a difficult time with a song, Janeen offered to play for her and she ended up being the class accompanist. She performed with her 6 younger sisters as the "Jacobs Sisters" in Idaho, Utah, and California. At age 17, Janeen co-authored and directed her first roadshow. Janeen Brian (born 1948), is a South Australian writer of children's books. A primary school teacher prior to 1990, when she started writing full time, she published her 100th book in September, 2016. Brian's work for middle school children ''Yong: The Journey of an Unworthy Son'' has been adapted to a stage production by Monkey Baa Theatre Company, with shows in regional Victoria and the Sydney Opera House. Janeen Sollman
Janeen A. Sollman is an American politician serving as a member of the Oregon State Senate from the 15th district. She previously served as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives from 2017 to 2022. Career Sollman served on board of the Hillsboro School District from 2009 until 2017. In the 2013 election, she defeated Rich Vial, also a future state representative. She served as board chair from 2011 until 2013. Sollman filed to run for the House after incumbent Democrat Joe Gallegos announced his retirement. In the general election, she defeated Republican Dan Mason and Libertarian Kyle Markley, receiving 52% of the vote. Janeen Uzzell is an American global technology executive and CEO of the National Society of Black Engineers. Early life and education Uzzell was born in Newark, New Jersey, and raised in Plainfield, New Jersey, where she attended Mount St. Mary Academy. Janeen Webb (''née'' Pemberton) is an Australian writer, critic and editor, working mainly in the field of science fiction and fantasy. Biography The daughter of a Second World War Australian Army commando and salesman, Webb was brought up in the Newcastle suburb of Charlestown and was educated at local schools. She then studied at the University of Newcastle, New South Wales where she gained a Ph.D. in literature in 1983. For many years, she taught at the Institute of Catholic Education (later part of the Australian Catholic University) in Melbourne, Victoria where she was Associate Professor and Reader in literature.
