Jana (film)
''Jana'' is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by Shaji Kailas. The film's score was composed by C. Raja Mani and soundtrack was composed by Dhina, while Rajeev Ravi was the cinematographer. Plot Janarthanan "Jana" lives in a village in Tamil Nadu, and leading a life incognito, taking up the cause of the villagers, and making enemies around. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Jana's past is revealed. Jana is actually a terror to the Mumbai dons and corrupt politicians. At the present, Jana finally meets his rival Bhandari, who is released from prison to have his final round with him. Shaji Kailas
Shaji Kailas (born 8 February 1965) is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his works in Malayalam cinema. Shaji got a breakthrough with the comedy film '' Dr. Pasupathy'' (1990). Ponnambalam (actor)
Ponnambalam (born 11 November 1963) is an Indian actor and stuntman who has predominantly appeared in Tamil language films. He is best known for playing antagonistic roles in Indian films during the 1990s, notably appearing in films such as '' Nattamai'' (1994), '' Muthu'' (1995) and ''Amarkalam'' (1999). Later in his career, Ponnambalam also appeared in a few leading roles, while also taking up the mantle of director and producer. S. Manivannan Rajagopal (31 July 1953 – 15 June 2013), better known by his mononym Manivannan, was an Indian film director, actor and activist who worked mainly in Tamil cinema and also worked in a few Telugu & Malayalam films. In a career spanning three decades, he went from being a story and dialogue writer for director Bharathiraja from 1980–82 to a successful director who thrived in experimenting with different genres, before becoming an actor.
