Jan Zimmermann
Jan Zimmermann (born 19 April 1985) is a German football coach and former player who is the goalkeeping coach for Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt. Career Zimmermann was born in Offenbach am Main and raised in Hesse. A goalkeeper, he started his professional career at Eintracht Frankfurt for the reserve team, competing in the Oberliga, the fourth German tier. After absolving his youth academy time, Zimmermann earned a professional contract for the 2004–05 season and had five Bundesliga appearances as third choice goalkeeper. Offenbach am Main () is a List of cities and towns in Germany, city in Hesse, Germany, on the left bank of the river Main (river), Main. DFB-Pokal
The DFB-Pokal ( is a German knockout football cup competition held annually by the German Football Association (DFB). Sixty-four teams participate in the competition, including all clubs from the Bundesliga and the 2. Bundesliga. It is considered the second-most important club title in German football after the Bundesliga championship. Taking place from August until May, the winner qualifies for the DFL-Supercup and the UEFA Europa League unless the winner already qualifies for the UEFA Champions League in the Bundesliga. The competition was founded in 1935, then called the '' Tschammer-Pokal''. The first titleholders were 1. FC Nürnberg. In 1937, Schalke 04 were the first team to win the double. The Tschammer-Pokal was suspended in 1944 due to World War II and disbanded following the demise of Nazi Germany. The 2012–13 SV Darmstadt 98 season is the 116th season in the club's football history. In 2012–13 the club played in the 3. Liga, the third tier of German football. It is the club's second season in this league, having been promoted from the Regionalliga in 2011. Squad Review and events The club lost coach Kosta Runjaic on 3 September to second division side MSV Duisburg. Runjaic was replaced with Jürgen Seeberger two days later. At mid-season, Darmstadt were sitting in dead last, 20th place, in the relegation zone. At the end of the season, the club finished in 18th, which is in the first spot of the relegation zone of the 3. Liga.
