Jan Szczepański (boxer)
Jan Antoni Szczepański (20 November 1939 in Małecz – 15 January 2017 in Warsaw) was a Polish boxer, who won the gold medal in the lightweight division (– 60 kg) at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, West Germany. In the final he defeated Hungary's László Orbán on points (5:0). Szczepański died on 15 January 2017, after long illness. James "Bubba" Busceme (born 14 February 1952), is a retired American boxer, who became one of the most celebrated American amateur boxers in history. Amateur career Born in Beaumont, Texas, Busceme was, at , the 1971 National AAU champion and 1972 National Golden Gloves champion, defeating Norman Goins of Indianapolis in the final. He was also a Golden Gloves champion at 132 lb in 1971, and before that he won the Golden Gloves crown at in 1969 and 1970. His amateur record is reported to be 520-13.
