Jan Erlend Kruse
Jan Erlend Kruse (born 31 August 1968) is a Norwegian former football defender. Club career Hailing from Kristiansund, he came through the ranks of talent factory Clausenengen before joining first-tier club Brann in 1987. After two seasons there, he took two seasons in Molde and one in Hamkam. In 1993 he spent several months on free transfer before joining third-tier club Averøykameratene in March. He did however manage to return to the top flight with Vålerenga, where he stayed until the summer of 1997 when he was loaned out to Skeid. He was also loaned out to Clausenengen in the spring of 1998 before venturing to Greek football and Panionios. He made 16 appearances in the 1998–99 Alpha Ethniki, scoring one goal. Requiring surgery on the cartilage in both his heels, he returned to Norway after one season. He made a brief comeback in Clausenengen and spent time training with Strømsgodset IF in June 2000. The Norwegian Football Federation ( nb, Norges Fotballforbund, nn, Noregs Fotballforbund; NFF) is the governing body of football in Norway. It was formed in 1902 and organises the men's and women's national teams, as well as the league systems for men and women (whose top levels are respectively the Eliteserien and Toppserien). The current president of NFF is Lise Klaveness. By 1 January 2004, there were 1,814 clubs organized in Norway and 373,532 registered players. It is the largest sports federation in Norway. Molde Fotballklubb, also known simply as Molde FK, is a Norwegian professional football club based in Molde. The club is affiliated with Nordmøre og Romsdal Fotballkrets and play their home games at Aker Stadion. Formed on 19 June 1911, the club have won five national league titles and five national cup titles. Molde participated in the UEFA Champions League in 1999 where they met Real Madrid, Porto and Olympiacos in the group stage. As of 2015 it was one of Norway's most popular news websites. The issue of match fixing in association football has been described, in 2013, by Chris Eaton, the former Head of Security of FIFA (the sport's world governing body), as a "crisis", while UEFA's president Michel Platini has said that if it continues, "football is dead." Zhang Jilong, president of the Asian Football Confederation, has stated that it is a "pandemic." The issue also affects a number of other sports across the world. In May 2011, world governing body FIFA announced an anti-match fixing plan, and in September 2012 FIFA President Sepp Blatter warned that match-fixing endangered "the integrity of the game." In September 2014 the Council of Europe also announced they would tackle the problem. History and profile The former ''Drammens Tidende'' dates back to 2 January 1832, when it was known as ''Tiden'', taking the new name in thirteen years later. ''Buskerud Blad'' dates back to 3 July 1883 when it was founded as a conservative alternative to ''Drammens Tidende'' and '' Drammens Blad'', which were both pro-liberal.
