Jan Ducroz
Jan Henri Ducroz (born 6 May 1971) is an internationally elite curler from Chamonix, France. He made his World Championship debut at the 2007 Ford World Men's Curling Championship with a team skipped by Thomas Dufour. The team finished the round robin competition with a 6 - 5 record and in a four way tie for fourth place. They lost their tiebreaker against Team Sweden skipped by Peja Lindholm. In 2008 he returned to the World Championships with the same team and again ended the round robin portion with a 6 - 5 record, this time to finish in fifth place. Team Dufour's third trip to the world championships was less successful. They finished with a 4 - 7 record and in eighth place; however, it was good enough to earn a spot for Team France at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. Chamonix, France
Chamonix-Mont-Blanc ( frp, Chamôni), more commonly known as Chamonix, is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of southeastern France. The 2007 World Men's Curling Championship (branded as 2007 Ford World Men's Curling Championship for sponsorship reasons) was held at Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada from March 31 to April 8. Thomas Dufour (born 12 February 1973) is a French curler. He currently skips the French national team. Peja Lindholm
Peter "Peja" Rutger Lindholm (born 2 June 1970 in Östersund, Sweden) is a retired Swedish curler. Curling At The 2010 Winter Olympics
The curling competition of the 2010 Olympics was held at Vancouver Olympic/Paralympic Centre in Vancouver. It is the fifth time that curling was on the Olympic program, after having been staged in 1924, 1998, 2002 and 2006. For the 2010 Winter Olympics the competition followed the same format that was used during the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics, with 10 teams playing a round robin tournament, from which the top four teams advance to the semi-finals. The women's competition concluded on Friday, February 26, 2010. In the bronze medal match, the Chinese team made history by becoming the first team from Asia to win an Olympic curling medal. Tony Angiboust (born 10 June 1983 in Chamonix, France) is an internationally elite curler from France. Career Tony Angiboust started curling in 1992 and curls out of the Sport Club of Chamonix. He currently is on the French team skipped by Thomas Dufour. He made his World Championship debut in 2007 where the team placed with a 6 - 5 record which placed them in a tie for fourth. However, they lost their tiebreaker against Team Sweden (skipped by Peja Lindholm) and finished in a tie for fifth place. Team France also finished the 2008 World Championships with a 6 - 5 record which again placed them in fifth place. At the 2009 World Championships they placed eighth with a 4 - 7 record.
