Jan Cousteau
Janice Cousteau ( Sullivan; 5 April 1939) is the widow of undersea explorer Philippe Cousteau and joined the Cousteau team on 20 expeditions over 12 years. She and Philippe married in Paris. They had two children, Alexandra Cousteau and Philippe Cousteau Jr., born six months after his father's accidental death. As of 2007, she served on the board of directors of the Washington Humane Society and is a co-founder, with her children, of EarthEcho International. She has also served on the board of directors for Alliance française. She still takes part in occasional expeditions. Redondo Beach (Spanish for ''round'') is a coastal city in Los Angeles County, California, United States, located in the South Bay region of the Greater Los Angeles area. It is one of three adjacent beach cities along the southern portion of Santa Monica Bay. The population was 71,576 at the 2020 census, up from 66,748 at the 2010 census. Redondo Beach was originally part of the 1785 Rancho San Pedro Spanish land grant that later became the South Redondo area. Philippe Cousteau
Philippe Pierre Cousteau (30 December 1940 – 28 June 1979) was a French diver, sailor, pilot, photographer, author, director and cinematographer specializing in environmental issues, with a background in oceanography. He was the second son of Jacques Cousteau and Simone Melchior. Cousteau was proficient filming from the air, on land and underwater. He was the lead cinematographer for most of the Cousteau films during his lifetime; he was nominated for and won several awards. Alexandra Marguerite Clémentine Cousteau (born March 21, 1976) is a filmmaker, sustainability Keynote Speaker, keynote speaker and an environmental activist. Cousteau continues the work of her grandfather Jacques-Yves Cousteau and father Philippe Cousteau.
