Östersund
Östersund (; sma, Staare) is an urban area (city) in Jämtland in the middle of Sweden. It is the seat of Östersund Municipality and the capital of Jämtland County. Östersund is located at the shores of Sweden's fifth-largest lake, Storsjön, opposite the island Frösön. It is the only city in Jämtland. The northern part of the urban area is located inside of the municipality of Krokom. Östersund is the region's cultural and economical centre and by tradition a city of trade and commerce. Peter "Peja" Rutger Lindholm (born 2 June 1970 in Östersund, Sweden) is a retired Swedish curler. The Swedish Senior Curling Championships ( sv, Svenska mästerskap i curling för oldboys/oldgirls, SM Oldlag, SM Oldgirls/Oldboys, Senior SM, SM Seniorer, SSM) is an annual curling tournament held to determine the best senior-level men's and women's curling teams in Sweden. Senior level curlers must be over the age of 50 as of June 30 in the year prior to the tournament.
