Jamon Brown
Jamon Brown (born March 15, 1993) is an American football guard who is a free agent. He played college football at Louisville and was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He has also played for the New York Giants, Atlanta Falcons, and Chicago Bears. College career Brown was a starter for the Louisville Cardinals from 2014 to 2015. Professional career St. Louis / Los Angeles Rams Brown was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the 3rd round, 72nd overall, in the 2015 NFL Draft. He signed a rookie contract worth $2,496,158 over four years. On November 17, 2015, he was placed on injured reserve due to a lower leg fracture. He then returned to play right guard for the Rams. In gridiron football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is a player who lines up between the center (American football), center and the offensive tackle, tackles on the offensive line of a football team on the line of scrimmage used primarily for Blocking (American football), blocking. Right guards (RG) is the term for the guards on the right of the offensive line, while left guards (LG) are on the left side. Guards are to the right or left of the center. The guard's job is to protect the quarterback from the incoming defensive line, linemen during pass plays, as well as creating openings (holes) for the running backs to head through. James Edward Carpenter Jr. (born March 22, 1989) is an American football guard who is a free agent. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks as the 25th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. He played college football at Alabama. High school career Carpenter attended Hephzibah High School in Hephzibah, Georgia, where he played offensive guard for the Hephzibah Rebels high school football team.
