Jamin Winans
Jamin Winans (born December 4, 1977) is an American filmmaker. He is known for his short film ''Spin'' (2005) and feature films '' 11:59'' (2005), ''Ink'' (2009) and '' The Frame'' (2014). ''The Frame'' is a 2014 American science fiction film, written and directed by Jamin Winans and starring David Carranza and Tiffany Mualem. It was produced by Winans's own independent production company, Double Edge Films, with Kiowa K. Winans, and shot by cinematographer Robert Muratore in locations around Denver, Colorado. It is the follow up to the 2009 science fiction fantasy film ''Ink'', also written and directed by Jamin Winans. A short film is any motion picture that is short enough in running time not to be considered a feature film. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences defines a short film as "an original motion picture that has a running time of 40 minutes or less, including all credits". In the United States, short films were generally termed short subjects from the 1920s into the 1970s when confined to two 35 mm reels or less, and featurettes for a film of three or four reels.
